Over the past few years, my life has, as the English might say: "gone a bit tit's up"

The tail end of 2023, I was diagnosed with IBD (delicately put, I have 'hot girl tummy troubles' to the nth degree). This had me shuttling between several different doctors, navigating a maze of medical appointments, new diets, new medications. Clashing with insurance reps and grappling with a level of exhaustion I didn't know was humanly possible. Somewhere between those waiting rooms and terrible hold music, I realized that I had to pause and reconsider what I wanted and how I wanted to work.

Two years later, after a brief plunge into what I jokingly call the SADs™...

All jokes aside, it was a deep valley of depression. It wasn't a great time. Hell, it wasn't even a functional timem, but in that stillness, in the hours that blurred together, I found space. Space to think. To ask myself what I realy wanted to do. 

And that's when I landed on starting my own business. 

Was it easy? No.

Was it worth it? Absolutely. 

It wasn't just a career move, it was a reclamation of control. It meant setting my own hours. Creating a workflow that actually respected my energy levels. Building something that aligned with how I wanted to live and not just how I needed to survive. It became the clearest path forward. A way to work on my terms, with purpose and flexibility at the core. 

And POOF! Wrighte & Co. was born.
